Where we stand
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA for every public page and every page in the SitePulse Fix app.
We have not yet shown that we meet that target. We have not had an independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim full or partial conformance with WCAG or with any law. This statement describes what we aim for, what we do, and what we know is still open.
What we do
- We build pages with headings in order, landmarks, a skip link, labelled form fields and text alternatives for images, and we check for these. The list under Known limits shows what we know is still wrong.
- Our design rule is that status is never shown by colour alone: results get words and an icon.
- We design mobile first and check that public pages do not scroll sideways at 320 px wide.
- Our design rule is that live results, such as the outcome of a check, are announced to screen readers.
- We have an automated audit script that runs axe-core in a real browser over our pages, to be run before releases. The first full run was on 28 October 2026, in Chromium only and against sample data. After we fixed what it found, it reported no serious or critical rule failures on the pages it covered. Automated tools find only part of the possible problems, so that result is not proof that a page is accessible.
Known limits
At the last review we knew of these gaps:
- The automated audit could not decide some items, such as text over images, text inside charts and score rings, and symbol characters. A person has to check those, and we have not done that yet.
- We have not completed a full keyboard-only pass or a screen reader pass across all pages. We have tested only in Chromium, and not at 200 percent browser zoom.
- Guides may link to or quote third-party websites that we do not control.
The SitePulse Fix health checks that look at other people's websites test only part of what accessibility needs. They never say a site is accessible or legally compliant.
